Tulip glass for red wine, 440ml
This 15oz Kimura tulip glass combines a generous capacity with a compact shape, ideal for aged red wines and craft beers. The ultra-thin wall thickness (<0.8mm) provides a light feel despite the glass's size. The rim tapers gradually from 75mm to 55mm, creating a funnel shape that concentrates the tertiary aromas of aged red wines and the malty notes of complex beers.
- 440ml (15oz) capacity, suitable for structured red wines and hoppy craft beers
- Ultra-thin hand-blown crystal with a thickness of <0.8mm for aromatic precision
- Japanese Kimura style with short legs for easy handling and storage
- The constricted tulip-shaped calyx concentrates the complex aromas of wines meant for aging.
Unlike a very upright Bordeaux glass, this Kimura shape promotes a horizontal spread of wine, which softens the tannins. Craft brewers favor this tulip glass for IPAs and stouts that require aeration. Find our complete range of tulip wine glasses in our shop.

Red wine and craft beer service
For aged red wines: decant for 60-90 minutes, serve at 17-18°C, and fill two-thirds full. The 440ml size allows for optimal aeration of Bordeaux, Côtes-du-Rhône, and Barolo wines. For craft beers: serve at 8-12°C depending on the style (IPA, stout, porter). The short stem makes it easy to handle when serving standing up for tasting. The narrow neck reveals the hop notes of IPAs and the roasted aromas of stouts.
