That's true, I didn't introduce myself.

For about ten years, I worked in industry. A stable, hands-on job. But the world of wine and spirits had long fascinated me. Not as a Sunday hobby—as a true obsession. The grape varieties, the terroirs, the distillation methods, the way a craftsman can tell their story in a bottle. That spoke to me far more than production lines.

The retraining

In 2016, I took the plunge. I headed to the University of Wine in Suze-la-Rousse , in the Drôme region, for a diploma program to become a sommelier-consultant and wine merchant. Six intensive months spent tasting, studying pairings, understanding winemaking, and learning how to advise customers. I graduated convinced I'd made the right choice.

Five years on the ground

In early 2017, I joined a wine shop as a sommelier. For five years, I advised customers daily, selected wines, interacted with winemakers, and organized tastings. It was also during this time that my interests broadened. Beyond wine and champagne, I developed a passion for spirits, the art of cocktails, and craft beers. Each world has its own codes, producers, and history. And above all, each deserves the right glass and accessories to be truly appreciated.

Gin in a water glass doesn't work. Neither does champagne in an ill-fitting flute. I learned that on the job, serving, tasting, comparing. The glass makes all the difference.

Why Lemonade Maker

In 2022, I created Limonadier with a simple idea: to offer glassware and accessories adapted to each drink — wine, champagne, spirits, cocktail, beer — with advice from a professional.

Because choosing a tasting glass, a shaker, or a corkscrew can quickly become complicated. Dozens of shapes, materials, and brands. My role is to sort through it all. I test, I compare, and I select what truly makes a difference in taste or feel.
