Blowing glass to a thickness of 0.5mm requires precise temperature control to within ±3°C and air pressure calibrated to the thousandth of a millimeter. Only Josephinen master glassmakers with over 20 years of experience have mastered this time-honored technique. A temperature variation of just 8°C during the process would irreparably damage the piece. The tulip shape concentrates the volatile compounds of aged champagnes (brioche, hazelnut, and honey notes) towards the nose.
