The hand-blown glass produces a wall thickness of between 0.8 and 1 mm. While champagnes do lose their bubbles more quickly in this balloon shape, they gain in aromatic expression. Serve at 11-13°C. Pour 12-15cl into a tulip glass . Swirl gently to aerate. Vintage champagnes will then develop their notes of honey, dried fruit, and spices. For a wedding, allow one glass per guest. This format is only suitable for complex champagnes: avoid non-vintage brut champagnes, which will lose their freshness too quickly in this oxygenated form.

Crystal balloon maintenance

Hand wash in lukewarm water (35°C). Use a mild detergent. Rinse twice to remove all traces. Dry immediately, holding the bowl with one hand. Never twist the stem. The 9cm diameter requires ample space between glasses for storage: a minimum of 4cm between glasses.
