Hand washing is recommended to preserve the glass's shine. Use a non-abrasive sponge and a mild detergent. Air drying may leave streaks; use a dry microfiber cloth instead.

If you don't have a suitable glass, a stainless steel alcohol flask can be used temporarily, but it does not allow for a complete tasting experience.
