Wooden corkscrew, lemonade maker

The Limonadier: a historical sommelier's tool. This wooden corkscrew replicates the design of the classic sommelier's knife known as the "Limonadier" — the French name for the American waiter's friend that appeared around 1882. The term " Limonadier " comes from Parisian lemonade makers, cabaret owners and cafe owners who served both wine and lemonade and carried this multi-functional tool in their apron.

  • Historic lemonade stand format: compact folding 11-12cm, heir to the waiter's friend 1882
  • Turned wooden handle: comfortable grip and balanced weight when serving
  • Complete sommelier mechanism: 5-turn helix + double-notch lever + capsule cutter
  • Versatile professional use: restaurant, bar, wine cellar, event service

Service with the Lemonade Maker

Optimal opening technique: Remove the capsule using the integrated cutter by tracing a clean circle under the rim of the bottle neck. Clean the neck. Position the tip of the helix in the center of the cork—slightly offset towards you to compensate for the natural angle of the screw. Screw evenly until half a turn remains visible above the cork. Place the first notch of the lever on the rim of the neck. Pull the handle towards you—the cork will rise approximately two-thirds of the way up. Reposition the second notch on the neck. Pull again: the cork will come out completely with a characteristic, soft sucking sound.
